I am an admirer of Johnny Depp. Whenever you see him in a movie or TV he looks among a special group of famous people. He shares his time between France and the United States. And no doubt, he is an excellent actor. He has millions of admirers around the world and he is a heartthrob for the teenagers. Johnny is not your usual million-dollar name. He has no problems being in niche movies as well as high-powered movies that have mass appeal.Flushing dentist SPX-017015.jpg

I have never met him and don't ask me about the state of his teeth because I have never examined them. I still think that Johnny Depp is a very fascinating personality. Here are some things that maybe only his die-hard fans know about. These are things I have heard and, even though I believe that it is accurate, I can't be entirely confident.

When he was a teenager, Johnny Depp decided to quit high school. He felt his skills lay elsewhere, particularly in the music business. He is quite a mean guitar player.

Although he is rich, he loves to spend time at one-dollar shops and looking for bargain antiques. And you know something else? Apparently, he has been rolling his own cigarettes, and smoking them from a very young age. He was only 12 when he started.

I had to work hard to find a photo of Johnny Depp and looking at it, I don't think he has dental implants. Maybe I'm wrong. But if you want to know if he really does wear them, you will have to ask him.

But let's turn to Flushing dental implants - How long do dental implants last?

The science of a dental implant is amazingly straight forward. It basically has a root-like part that is inserted into your jaw. The bone simply grows around it just like the roots of your other teeth. Using this system, our Flushing dental implants are firm and strong and you can use them for many years. When you see someone with implants or other dental treatment smile, what you can see is the finishing touch to many dental procedures called a crown. The only thing about the crown is that it won't last forever. Or at least as long as the implant that we drilled into the bone of your jaw.

The funny part about implants is that they are not new to the profession. It is true that they are gaining popularity and have become established treatment for giving people who have lost some teeth the chance to have a winning smile again. Dental implants may soon become the tradition. Certainly, there are folks who prefer implants and not have to go through a root canal or crown. Implants, they say, are the best thing since sliced bread. The choice is yours. What I know is that implants are pretty good. Once you have them you may start to think that they are your natural teeth when they are actually implants. And who knows, your new teeth will last forever and ever.
